Bobby Sheffield started drilling water wells in High Springs and the surrounding community in the 1970's before a drilling license was required. He later became one of the earliest licensed Water Well Contractors in Florida.
Son, Chester Sheffield, continued the second generation of drilling around 1998. He and his wife, Melissa, are also licensed Water Well Contractors and very active in local and state groundwater associations. They have served as President, VP, and on the Board of Directors of the North Central Florida Water Well Association.
Their son, Jaxson Sheffield, is now the third generation of the Sheffield family to hold a Water Well Contractor license. He and his wife Hailey have joined the family business. They are also active members of local and state groundwater associations.
